RÖCHER is a mechanical engineering company with many years of experience from Netphen in Siegerland, South Westphalia. The company’s focus is hydraulic presses.
As well as hydraulic presses, the product range also covers customer-specific special machines for forming technology.
Our flexible company structure and competent team members enable us to adapt machines and systems to the special requirements of customers, to attain economic solutions for their production tasks.
This is supported by a high level of processing which ensures additional quality and flexibility as well as extraordinary knowledge, and guarantees a quick, reliable provision of service.

Expansion and production through purchase of the Utsch company in Eisern (Röcher bros: Factory II)

Beginning of special machine and fixture construction

1960

Takeover of the Kapfer company in Eiserfeld (Röcher bros: Factory III)
and expansion of the range

1965

Acquisition of the special structure for hydraulic presses and construction of the first hydraulic single-frame press with guided press ram

1966

Further developments in the field of hydraulic presses

1967

Development of the company’s own hydraulic control block

1974

Construction of a new series for straightening plants: The first plant consists of a 4,000 kN straightening press with tool measuring, straightening lift control and material handling

1980

Further upgrading of the company’s own two-channel press controls to Siemens Simatic S5

1980

Development of a special, highly precise and highly dynamic pressure control for hydraulic presses

1985

Development of a new series of hydraulic double-frame presses with highly precise ram guides

Supply of a complete production system with a newly developed fully-automatic tool change system

Relocation to the premises of the company Deuma in Netphen-Deuz to meet ever-growing demands in the construction of hydraulic presses

Supply of complete press systems

Supply of the first hydroforming press

Supply of the prototype of a new series of hydraulic double-frame presses: the prototype has a pressing power of 16,000 kN, 2 rams, 3 die cushions, adjustable sheet holder forces from left to right and front to back, as well as coupling functions

Expansion of the “mechanical processing” area by a CNC boring mill for 65 t part weight

Supply of the first system of a new series of pressing machines

Supply of the first flow pressure machine for aluminium wheels

Start of a new series of rapid-cycle hydraulic presses with band systems

Construction of the first annular piston press for pipe sizing

1997

Construction of a newly developed blanking plant for sheet casings

Transition of the press controls from “Siemens S5” to “Siemens S7”

Supply of a 55 m-long, fully automatic forming line

Introduction of the first FEM system

Development of a new double-frame series with synchronous controls on the rams and die cushions

Supply of the first hydraulic drawing press of a new series of deep drawing presses, in the form of a four-column press

Introduction of a production planning and control system

Transition of all CAD workplaces to 3D

Supply of the first hydraulic fine cutting press

Construction and shipping of a press with 35,000 kN pressing power and weighing approx. 400 t

Relocation of Röcher from Netphen-Deuz to Netphen-Dreis-Tiefenbach

Expansion of the production capacity after building an assembly hall with increased crane capacity

Start of a new series of “tool trial presses”
